BriPower successfully developed 500kW AC/DC electronic load
In Feb 2022, Bridge Technology successfully completed all the tests of the 500kW programmable bidirectional AC/DC electronic load (hereinafter referred to as 500kVA3PHEL), which will be delivered to a well-known enterprise in Turkey to test various power converters, permanent magnet synchronous motors and batteries.
500kVA3PHEL has an automatic wide-range output function, and the output range of voltage/current can be adjusted to cover a wider range of power applications. The rated output AC of the system is 500KVA, 2000VL-N, 192A/ph in the frequency range of 1 ~ 300Hz; Rated output DC: 500kW, 2000V, 333A.
500kVA3PHEL uses PWM technology and bi-directional design, which makes it possible to be used as AC/DC power source or regenerative AC/DC load. CV/CC/CP/CR operation modes are available for both sourcing and sinking. It has the capability to return the energy fully back to the grid.
BriPowerTM 500kVA3PHEL customizes the software according to the user’s needs, supports a variety of parameter settings. With the saving and reloading function of the sequence mode, multiple work steps can be arranged and combined into a complete measurement process, which can complete the product test and provide a cost-effective solution for user tests.
